FPM is your membership body, and we rely on member support to make a big impact.
If you would like to do more to support our work, promote the best standards in pharmaceutical medicine and improve the discipline, then we have a variety of ways in which you can get involved.

Participating in the journal club was superb, the sharing of ideas, coupled with debate, is something I thoroughly enjoy. Particularly with physician colleagues from wide-ranging backgrounds within the pharmaceutical industry. The journal club is undoubtedly the perfect platform for this and I would emphatically encourage all members to participate.
I feel very fortunate to work with the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine within a framework where meaning, experience, knowledge and contribution intersect. FPM provides me with the unique opportunity to more effectively and constructively impact the communities that we serve.
Furthermore, FPM has provided me with an opportunity to engage with global leaders in the Pharmaceutical Industry, permitting me a glimpse into the common denominator that drives their uncommon success. It turns out it really is as simple as a burning desire to be of service to global populations, translated into action.
As an independent consultant I have found getting more involved with FPM extremely rewarding. As a member of both the Paediatric and Woman’s Health expert group and the Education and Standards Committee it’s great to contribute and feel part of the FPM team promoting our exciting and interesting specialty both within industry but also to other medical colleges. I particularly lecturing on pharmaceutical medicine to undergraduates through our work with the Brighton and Sussex medical school and advising trainees on their careers, including those from other specialities who are looking to get experience in pharmaceutical medicine.
