FPM seeks Pharmaceutical Medicine Specialist Advisory Committee Members

FPM is looking for new volunteer members to join the committee in a variety of roles, representing particular workstream areas of specialty training. The roles include:

• Quality management
• Curriculum
• E-portfolio
• Assessment and standards
• Certification and trainees

Additionally, the role of Chair is currently vacant and we would be interested to receive expressions of interest in this role from new member applicants. A job description is available upon request.

Role context

Specialist Advisory Committees (SACs) are subcommittees of the Joint Royal Colleges of Physicians Training Board. The role of the SAC on Pharmaceutical Medicine is to contribute to the development of specialist training policy, as it affects the speciality, and to advise on the delivery of training to standards proposed by the JRCPTB (and approved by the GMC) in a number of key areas.
