In our Fireside Chat series, FPM welcomes inspirational speakers.
We open the floor, and allow them to talk about their career, their passions, and the things that they believe are important to advance the science and practice of pharmaceutical medicine.
Join us for a captivating fireside chat with Kim Sowemimo, co-founder of Social Enterprise Community Interest Company Black Pharma.
At this free online event attendees will find out more about the work of Black Pharma and Kim’s inspiring insights, experiences and vision for a more inclusive future in healthcare. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage in a thought-provoking conversation that highlights the pivotal role Black professionals play in shaping the pharmaceutical landscape. This event will be co-hosted by FPM Chief Executive Dr Marcia Philbin, and Dr John Ndikum, chair of FPM’s Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Forum.
Kim is deeply dedicated to mentoring young individuals, guiding them to unlock their potential and achieve their career aspirations. Over the span of more than a decade, she has collaborated with numerous charities and churches, concentrating on nurturing the personal and academic growth of young people, particularly those from underserved communities.
In August 2020, Kim united with peers in the Pharmaceutical Industry to launch Black Pharma, an organisation that champions increased representation and acknowledgement of black talent within the sector.
Black Pharma is at the forefront of championing diversity and inclusion within the pharmaceutical sector, and this fireside chat will provide a unique opportunity to hear their perspectives and insights. Discover how diversity can drive innovation, improve patient outcomes, and create a more inclusive pharmaceutical landscape.
Join us for an enlightening fireside chat with Black Pharma and help drive positive change in the field of pharmaceutical medicine.
