Managing Medical Emergencies in Human Pharmacology

This intensive one-day online course on the management of medical emergencies in human pharmacology studies is now open for bookings.


This event is free to attend for candidates working towards the Certificate in Human Pharmacology (CHP) and Diploma in Experimental Therapeutics (DET).

This course is a requirement for those taking the Diploma in Human Pharmacology (DHP) and is free to attend as part of the diploma.

Who is this course for?

  • This course is for all medical staff involved in the care of volunteers, including doctors, nurses and technicians.
  • It is also suitable pharmaceutical physicians working in the field of pharmaceutical medicine, who have an interest in human pharmacology.

This course is taught by a group of expert and world-renowned Pharmacologists. The course is led by Professor John Posner FFPM.

Professor John Posner FFPM

Professor John Posner FFPM is a Visiting Professor in the Centre for Pharmaceutical Medicine Research, Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, School of Cancer & Pharmaceutical Sciences, at Kings College, and is also an independent consultant in Pharmaceutical Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology.
