RCP childrens Christmas lecture 2021: Drugs and Bugs

This year’s childrens Christmas lecture will be delivered by Dr Sheuli Porkess, Vice President of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine.
Aimed at 12-18 year olds, students, children, grandchildren, and family friends are encouraged to watch this lecture live from home and engage in the Q&A session.
In this lecture Dr Porkess will explain how medicines can be used to fight diseases caused by bugs, why antibiotic resistance is an issue and what you, as a young person can do to help. She will then go onto discuss why not all bugs are bad and how some help us treat diseases.
