FPM x MWF – The Menopause: Not just a woman’s issue – What Can We Do? (Day 2)
Thursday 14 October 2021
12:30-14:00
Despite being a natural part of growing older, the menopause is often associated with stigma and taboo.
This stigma results in a lack of discussion with many people not learning about the effects of the menopause until they experience it themselves.
This absence of education also means workplaces are inapt to support people who are experiencing symptoms.
To tackle this stigma and to raise awareness about the topic, FPM and Medical Womens Federation (MWF) will be hosting two joint webinars on the topic.
