FPM awarded £72,300 grant to deliver 21st century Postgraduate Medical Education
We are delighted to announce that the Dinwoodie Charitable Company has awarded FPM £72,300 to enable an overhaul of our IT and customer relationship systems from the ground up to make them fit for the 21st century. This will revolutionise how we deliver our educational programmes to meet growing demands for professional and technical training for physicians and other professional groups involved in the development and use of medicines.
Specifically, the grant will predominantly be split between:
- New online assessment tools – FPM will deliver a broader diversity of online professional events, plus engagement opportunities for the members of the public with an interest in pharmaceutical medicine.
- Contribution to an upgraded customer relationship management (CRM) system – this will enable FPM to better organise and manage information about our members, allowing optimised and targeted engagement with the membership and other customers, and bespoke postgraduate medical and professional training to support members in their careers.
- New learning management system – this will allow FPM to create and manage new educational programmes and ensure consistency in the quality of the content, training materials and instructions to delegates.
The Dinwoodie Charitable Company operates within England with the principal objective of benefiting patients by providing facilities for the further education of doctors and their teams and by funding research into novel education techniques and strategies. Find out more at www.dinwoodiecharity.com.
