We are delighted to announce that Dr Allyah Abbas-Hanif has been appointed as the new Chair of FPM’s Policy and Communications Group (PCG). We would like to congratulate Allyah, and we look forward to our future collaborations. Allyah will be taking over from Sheuli Porkess who has been elected as FPM’s new Vice President.
Allyah joins Birge Berns, Renata Crome, Harjeet Dhillon, Michael Holmes and Marianna Lalla, and the FPM staff contingent of Ben Cottam, Eleanor Kingwell-Banham, Joe Meredith and Will Strange.
“I’m so pleased to take up the Chair of Policy and Communication at the FPM. During the tumultuous years of Brexit and covid-19, I like many others have found an anchor in the FPM. Pharmaceutical medicine plays a crucial role in global health and the FPM continues to help ensure effective drugs are delivered for all patient groups. I am excited to build on this work as well as bringing my own vision for further inclusion and diversity.”
