The recent RCP children’s Christmas lecture was delivered on 22 December 2021 by Dr Sheuli Porkess, FPM Vice President.
Entitled Drugs and Bugs the webinar attracted viewers from across the world including, Austria, India, Mauritius, UAE, South Korea and the USA.
In the lecture, aimed at 12-18 year olds, Sheuli explained how medicines can be used to fight diseases caused by bugs, why antibiotic resistance is an issue and what young people can do to help.
