Seeking a new member for FPM’s Finance Committee

The Finance Committee supports the Treasurer in ensuring the good financial governance of FPM. The Finance Committee includes the Treasurer who chairs the meeting, FPM’s accountants, an FPM member (this is the role we are recruiting for) and the FPM staff whose responsibility includes the management of FPM’s finances.

Dr Kamlesh Sheth, our current Finance Committee member, is taking on the role of Treasurer from November and we are seeking a new committee member to replace him and to join our team.

This Committee is responsible for ensuring:

  • Good financial governance including adherence to financial policy and procedures
  • The preparation of an annual budget for consideration by the Board of Trustees
  • The audited accounts and a financial report are submitted to the Board of Trustees and FPM’s AGM
  • Compliance with the obligations in relation to accounts specified in the Companies’ Act and Charities’ Act

The committee description above may sound a little ‘dry’ but this is a well organised group who work really well together and this is your opportunity to join us and to shape the future of FPM.

We are seeking one new member for this committee and all Affiliates, Associates, Members and Fellows are eligible to apply.
